Do you have a little (or big) speed  demon in your family?

Throughout the year we run come and try days for keen newcomers or people to have their first taste of karting. These  are special days where you can come along and try a real race kart on the track under controlled conditions.

Karting is the worlds most affordable form of motorsport and is considered the first step in any future racers career.

People of all ages can enjoy the sport with children as young as seven competing.

Who can have a go?

We have kids, men & women who are members of our club and regularly race. As long as you are over 7 years old you can come and have a go.

When can I have a go?

We have regular days for racing as well as come and try dates. Keep an eye on this page and our Facebook account where we will advertise upcoming days.

How much does it cost?

There is a small fee of $20.00 per driver to participate. We also offer family discounts.

What should I bring on the day?

All drivers need to wear appropriate protective clothing. You will need gloves that cover the wrist, enclosed footwear, long pants and long sleeved top and of course a helmet. We have some protective equipment, however if you have our own protective equipment please bring it along. Please note The Club will not be held responsible for any damage caused to participants' own personal equipment.

How does the day run?

  • When you arrive you will need to complete an Indemnity Form. We will have these forms available on the day.

  • Each driver will have 10 minutes to drive around the track.

  • Before getting on the track each driver will be given a briefing about rules and instructions on the operation of the kart.

  • Club members will be at the day. We're all really nice! So please approach one of us and ask us any questions you have about  getting into karting.

How do I register?

Registration is important as we will have limited spots on each day. So don't miss out and register for our next event by using the form below. We will contact you when we run a come and try day.
